Epcot Food and Wine festival 2018: Remy's Hide and Squeak Scavenger Hunt

Hey guys! Cash and I broke in our brand new Disney Annual passes this weekend and went to Epcot for the first time! I have been looking forward to checking out this park for quite awhile, and everyone knows that during the Food and Wine festival is the best time.

We got to try some amazingly fun dishes like America’s lobster roll, France’s escargot croissant, Morocco’s hummus fries, and Ireland’s warm chocolate pudding. We definitely ate around the world, and all of it got a thumbs up! However, I wanted to share with you our favorite part of the day.

There is a scavenger hunt for purchase (we bought ours at a pavilion near the front gate) that features Remy of Ratatouille fame. They are $6.99, which is quite the bargain for anything at Disney. You get a package that contains a map, and a sheet of stickers featuring Remy. In each photo, he’s posing with a different ingredient that is needed to make ratatouille. You have to go to each of the locations marked on the map and look for the figurine of Remy, who will be holding one of the ingredients. As you see him, you put the correct picture on the location on the map.

We had such a blast wandering around all the nooks and crannies of the different countries, especially with it being our first time, looking for clues. At the end, you can turn in the map (they don’t actually take it, you can keep it for a souvenir) and they will give you a prize! We got a koozie, which was perfect for me, because I basically travel nowhere without one! Cash was mainly just proud of himself for completing the tasks.

I highly recommend this for anyone going with kids. It kept his little feet moving even when he was tired, because he was super pumped to find the next clue. We walked over 17,000 steps before 2pm! Check out the video below so you can see how it worked.
